Understanding Complications of VTE Across all Practices

Members of the National Blood Clot Alliance and it’s Medical & Scientific Advisory Board will present on how to best treat an identified VTE patient – from what tests to run, treatment options, and anticoagulation. Hear unique blood clot risk factors for both cancer patients and women and the role of PharmD across various diagnoses.


VTE Care Coordination in the Interventional Setting

March 9, 2023, 2 – 3 pm EST

Members of both Wellstar and the National Blood Clot Alliance will present on what emergency intervention looks like for VTE patients and how to produce ideal outcomes.


Gaps in Patient Care, Health Disparities and Mental Health Issues in the VTE Patient and The Role of The Primary Care Physician 

Members of the National Blood Clot Alliance and it’s Medical & Scientific Advisory Board will present on the gaps in care for the VTE patient, what health disparities exist in VTE care, the results from the NBCA CLUES survey regarding mental health outcomes for VTE patients, and the important role that primary care physicians play in patient outcomes.
