The CLUES Blood Clot Study

A Critical Look at Understanding the Emotional Suffering of Blood Clot Survivors

Calling all blood clot survivors, we have heard you!

We know the physical toll that blood clots can take on your body, but you have also told us of the psychological impact and we want to learn more. What are the emotional issues it has caused you? Have you experienced anxiety or post-traumatic stress after having your clot? You are the expert and we want to learn from you.

As a blood clot survivor, your knowledge and opinion can help us develop better ways to treat the whole patient, physical and emotional. We invite you to take part in our survey, to provide us with valuable information about your physical and emotional well-being following your blood clot. Your participation will go a long way in helping future blood clot survivors.

Anyone who has had a blood clot can take the survey. There are no costs to you and your responses are anonymous. The Mass General Brigham IRB has determined that this project meets the criteria for exemption. If you have any questions about the survey, you can contact (857)282-1900 re: IRB #2021P001293.

The survey closed on December 20, 2021 at midnight EST.
