‘Coach Tom’ Buffolano Pushes Blood Clot Awareness Forward

June Volunteer of the Month

We are thrilled to honor Tom Buffolano as our June Volunteer of the Month for his exceptional dedication and contributions to the National Blood Clot Alliance (NBCA). As a member of our Board of Directors, Tom has played a pivotal role in supporting our organization and raising awareness about blood clots.

For the past few years, Tom has offered his expertise as a running coach to our NYC Marathon team, providing guidance and motivation throughout their training. “Coach Tom” has helped countless runners achieve their goals and overcome challenges along the way. His commitment to our cause extends far beyond the marathon, as he strives to make connections that benefit our organization and mission.

Tom helps drive awareness by sharing his own blood clot experience. In fact, he secured several interviews with local and national news outlets during Blood Clot Awareness Month.

We extend our deepest gratitude to Tom for his contributions to the blood clot community. His passion, expertise, and enthusiasm make him a true champion in our fight against blood clots.

Congratulations, Tom, on being our well-deserved June Volunteer of the Month!
