Important Information About the Six Course Modules
Thank you for your interest in our VTE e-learning course. Please note that the six modules are offered as standalone learning units, and progress is not tracked within the individual modules.
To receive continuing education (CE) credit for the full course, you must:
- Register once through NBCA (https://www.stoptheclot.org/curriculum_reg/) and once through CDC TRAIN.
- Complete the required posttest on CDC TRAIN. (If you have already completed the 6 modules at the stoptheclot website, you will still need to click the green “Launch” button after registering for the course at the CDC TRAIN site. You will then go back to the CDC TRAIN site and click the green “Mark Completed” button next to the Launch button once you have completed the 6 modules. Click OK to the dialogue box question – “Are you ready to proceed to the post-assessment?” and then click start to complete the post-test.)
You do not need to register again to view or re-enter any of the six modules. After completing the initial registration on StoptheClot.org, you can return to this module page (https://www.stoptheclot.org/stop-the-clot-what-every-healthcare-professional-should-know-modules-1-6/) – bookmark this page) at any time and access all six modules freely.
