If you work in the medical field or in patient advocacy and want to enhance your knowledge and skills in hemostasis and/or thrombosis, the Thrombosis and Hemostasis Societies of North America (THSNA) has an opportunity you won’t want to miss.
THSNA — which includes NBCA as a member organization — is accepting applications for its Mentoring Award competition. This award provides financial support of up to $3,500 for a professional from the US, Canada or Mexico to travel and receive intensive mentorship for one week with a pre-selected mentor at facility anywhere in North America.
Awards will fall into the following categories:
- Nursing
- Laboratory technologist/specialist
- Pharmacist
- PhD researcher
- Physician investigator, clinical, translational, or basic
- Patient advocate
The application deadline is Feb. 16, 2024.
