This year celebrates the 52nd running of the TCS New York City Marathon and the 12th year for Team Stop The Clot® as an Official Charity Partner. We’re proud of our history, and even more proud of our nearly 100  runners who crossed the finish line, raising over $550,000 and bringing blood clot awareness to their family, friends, and people all across the country, including thousands of spectators along the marathon course. Runners will be selected on a rolling basis and will be notified no later than two weeks after their application has been received.

Runners are required to raise a minimum of $5,000 by November 5, 2023

Do you want to join Team Stop the Clot® but are not quite ready to travel to New York City and run a timed marathon in person? Consider participating in the TCS New York City Marathon, virtually! Blood clot recovery can be tough, and we understand that everyone is at a different point in their fitness journey. Virtual marathon participants can create their own marathon course and complete the 26.2 miles by walking, jogging, or running!

What is the National Blood Clot Alliance (Team Stop the Clot®)? 

The National Blood Clot Alliance (NBCA) is a 501(c)(3), non-profit, voluntary health organization dedicated to advancing the prevention, early diagnosis and successful treatment of life-threatening blood clots such as deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism. NBCA is the leading nonprofit organization in the United States focused singularly on building awareness and building community among people who are affected by blood clots or at increased risk for blood clots.
