NBCA Board of Directors Adds New Member

The National Blood Clot Alliance is pleased to welcome a new member to its Board of Directors, Dan Walsh, MBA.

Dan is a seasoned professional in the fields of data analytics and strategy, with more than a decade of experience within the consumer goods/branded products industry. Currently, he works in category management and insights at Keurig Dr Pepper. Prior to his current position, Dan has held pivotal roles in analytics and leadership at organizations like Kellogg’s, Unilever, and Pernod Ricard.

Dan was born and raised in New Jersey, where he completed his bachelor’s degree in marketing at Rutgers University. He furthered his education with an MBA specializing in data analytics at Louisiana State University. Dan and his family currently reside in Orlando, FL and in their free time they enjoy visiting the local theme parks.

In July 2021, Dan’s life took a sudden turn when he experienced a sharp, debilitating pain in his back. Initially, an urgent care facility dismissed it. However, a week later, as the pain intensified, Dan sought help at the emergency room. There, it was determined that he was facing a near-fatal sub-massive pulmonary embolism, along with other emboli in his right lung. After a week in the ICU, Dan embarked on his path to recovery. He has since made significant progress and has channeled his experiences into raising awareness through sharing his story.
