The National Blood Clot Alliance (NBCA), in partnership with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), is pleased to announce the renewal of our online venous thromboembolism (VTE) e-learning course, Stop the Clot® – What Every Healthcare Professional Should Know. The updated course is available now and continues to offer no-cost continuing education (CE) for physicians, nurses, physician assistants, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
Originally launched in 2023 and renewed in October 2025, this enduring web-based activity is designed to provide the most current foundational information and clinical considerations to assess and treat patients at risk of and experiencing VTE and to improve the ability of healthcare professionals to identify and manage these patients successfully.

· VTE prevention
· VTE diagnosis
· VTE treatment and management
· Post-VTE complications
Continuing Education Credits
This activity provides up to 1.75 CE credits, with offerings that include CME, AAPA Category 1 CME, CNE, CPE, and CEU. Credit is available through October 10, 2027. All CE is provided at no cost.
