NBCA Supports VENUS

NBCA Supports VENUS

The National Blood Clot Alliance (NBCA) strongly supports biomedical research focused on blood clots, regardless of cause. While much is understood about clots, many important questions remain unanswered.

That is why NBCA is proud to be a supporter of VENUS, the Venous thromboEmbolism Network U.S. The members of this research collaborative are physician-scientists employed at academic medical centers and other non-commercial research institutions. Currently, 90 investigators working at more than 60 institutions participate in VENUS.

VENUS members organize collaborative, multi-institutional research projects, including clinical trials, and apply for grant funds to support this work. You can read more about VENUS here.

To read more about clinical trials in general, visit NBCA’s Clinical Trials page, where you also can link to and learn more about clinical trials focused on blood clots.
