  • Recent swelling of one leg

  • Skin that is warm to the touch
  • Change in color (blue, red, or very pale)

  • Recent or sudden shortness of breath
  • Sharp chest pain, especially when breathing in
  • Coughing up blood
  • Sudden collapse
  • Feeling of apprehension
