American Heart Association Vascular Disease Survey

American Heart Association Vascular Disease Survey

The American Heart Association/American Stroke Association’s mission is to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke. The goal is to improve the cardiovascular health of all Americans by 20%, and reduce deaths from cardiovascular disease and stroke by 20%, by the year 2020.  Part of that goal includes improving the vascular health of all Americans. Vascular diseases are prevalent in the United States, with peripheral artery disease, venous thromboembolism and aortic aneurysm affecting millions of Americans, and accounting for a portion of cardiovascular deaths annually.

The American Heart Association/American Stroke Association invites you to speak up by participating in a short Vascular Disease Survey for a chance to win a $25 Amazon e-gift card. Your name will be included in a random drawing if you complete the survey – four winners will be drawn. Your input will assist with the development of informational tools and resources to help elevate awareness of the symptoms, risk factors, management and treatment options for vascular diseases, with the overall goal of improving the vascular health of all Americans.

Please contact Alison Groom at the American Heart Association with any questions regarding this survey.
