Join Team Stop the clot

Are you a runner, marathoner, swimmer, cyclist, or triathlete and care about someone with a blood clot or clotting disorder?

You can join Team Stop The Clot® by using your strength and endurance to help National Blood Clot Alliance spread the word! Wherever you live you can raise awareness and funds by participating in a local event you choose: maybe it’s a 5K walk, fun-run, marathon, bike race, or even a triathlon!

STEP 1: Create a personalized fundraising page at

In about five minutes you can create a page, share your story and reasons why you support NBCA while you gear up for your event. Once your page is up and you’ve raised $100, we’ll send your NBCA training jersey, connect you to other clot-stopping athletes, and share fundraising tips. Make a difference by signing up and creating a page today!

STEP 2: Get your friends, family and co-workers involved

It’s easy to spread the word and share the story that motivates you with everyone you know! Family, friends, co-workers and members of your community can sponsor you in your event and help you reach your NBCA fundraising goal. In return, your page automatically links them to life-saving information on NBCA’s website: ..

STEP 3: Share your success

Let us know how you did — your hard work is truly an inspiration to others! We’d love to share your victory with the clotting community and beyond! Donated funds go directly toward our mission to advancing prevention, early diagnosis and successful treatment of blood clots, clotting disorders, and clot-provoked strokes through public awareness, advocacy and patient and professional education.
