The National Blood Clot Alliance is hosting a webinar for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Division of Blood Disorders, on Thursday, March 11, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm Eastern Time.

This talk – “Multidisciplinary Care for Acute Pulmonary Embolism: The Pulmonary Embolism Response Team” – will be presented by NBCA’s Medical and Scientific Advisory Board Member Dr. Rachel P. Rosovsky.


Learning Objectives

In this webinar, Dr Rosovsky will:

  • Identify the need for Pulmonary Embolism Response Teams (PERTs).
  • Describe how PERTs immediately and simultaneously engage multiple specialists to determine the best course of action and coordinate the clinical care for patients with acute PE.
  • Describe the role of the PERT Consortium.
