The National Blood Clot Alliance is hosting a webinar for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Division of Blood Disorders, on Thursday, March 5, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm Eastern Time.

Learning Objectives

In this webinar, Dr. Schünemann and Dr. Darzi will:

  • Identify approaches to developing risk assessment models and associated limitations.
  • Describe why using a combination of evidence-based findings and clinical expertise is the ideal approach for factor selection and RAM development.
  • Describe findings from the systematic review and novel approach that included a Delphi process and how these findings can inform guideline development and clinical practice to prevent VTE and clinically significant bleeding events.
