The National Blood Clot Alliance Inks Cause Related Marketing Agreement with Sandhills Medical Supply

December 17, 2010. The National Blood Clot Alliance (NBCA) has entered into an agreement with Sandhills Medical Supply, LLC in which Sandhills will donate 10% of its proceeds from the sale of compression stockings through its website .

NBCA Chief Executive Director, Alan P. Brownstein, said that this is an excellent example of “cause-related marketing” where through the sale of these stockings, NBCA will receive revenue to support its mission to prevent, diagnose and treat thrombosis and thrombophilia through research, education support and advocacy.”

Sandhills President, Phil Davis, said that “I am proud to support the community that is served by my company and I hope this serves as a model for other businesses to contribute to NBCA”
